REVIEW GUIDELINES

1. Review verification emails are required to request your next sample.
2. All* levels of Buzz Team participation must return reviews in at least 3 months. If 3 months pass and you have not submitted a review for a sample, Administration will email that member and if the review is not returned within a weeks time, that member’s account will be deactivated. (*a higher level of commitment may be required depending on your Buzz Team status, please review the Buzz Team structure for more information)
3. Be Objective—understand that everyone’s sex toy preferences are different. Products that suit one individual may not suit another. If you were unsatisfied with the product, please provide constructive criticism. It is also helpful if you can step outside the box and determine who might benefit most from the product.
4. Be Specific—Provide examples of product attributes. *This is easily done in the pros and cons if you want to save room in the body of the review for more specific experience information.
   1. Vibration intensity = very mild to extremely intense
   2. Noise level = whisper quiet to extremely noisy
   3. Vary of settings = there was little difference between speeds/pulsations to there were various unique speeds/pulsations
   4. Ease of use = on/off button was easy to find and use or the controls were easy to manage/manipulate during sex (or masturbation)
   5. Size comparison = thin as a pencil, thick like a cucumber, etc.
5. Review length should be appropriate to product. Please no “it was great” reviews as these kinds of reviews are not specific or helpful. But please do not write a novel either. Excessively lengthy reviews that fail to come to a point or are excessively repetitive are not helpful either. We understand that reviews for lubricant versus reviews for multi-function vibrators will vary in length—less to say for non-interactive products versus more to say for interactive and engaging products.
6. Use keywords such as the product name and descriptive words such as “sex toy” or “vibrator” rather than it, this, her or him.
7. Please do not try to “sell” the product. This is our job as marketers. Buzz Team members strive to provide a real life connection to the product experience.
8. Refrain from using excessively negative or crude language. This includes overusing punctuation, XXX style remarks or overtly angry comments.
9. Please copy-edit your review before submission. Better Sex should not have to spend too much time correcting your grammar and spelling. If Buzz Team Administration has to consistently correct a member’s reviews after the member has been notified, we will proceed with rejecting the review until it can be submitted without excessive grammar and spelling errors.
10. Reviews may be linked to or from blogs, but no more than 100 words may be copied as an example or “tease” to the full review on BetterSex.com. More than 100 words incur duplication penalties from search engines and will be considered a violation of our copyright.
11. It is the member’s responsibility to include their Nickname (Screenname) and email address in all reviews. Failure to do so will result in the review posting anonymously and not being linkable to the member’s profile. If either of these are not included, Better Sex cannot be expected to correct this oversight. If you encounter any difficulties in review submission, please contact an administrator at buzzteam at bettersex.com.
12. Reviews of samples that Better Sex provides a Buzz Team Member are not to be submitted to alternate, competitor websites. If a member is found doing such, that member will be removed from the Buzz Team.
13. DVD Reviews are perhaps the most difficult product to review as they are entirely subjective in nature. Please provide the best summary you can of why the film was enjoyable without providing a play by play or scene by scene dissertation.
14. Please notify an administrator if you encounter a defective product (see FAQs #6). If a member continually submits negative reviews for defective products rather than giving administration the chance to address the product line and replace the defective sample for appropriate review, that member will be subject to suspension from Buzz Team.

PARTICIPATION GUIDELINES

1. Membership is earned by providing feedback and reviews that meet the Buzz Team Guidelines fully outlined above.
2. Membership to the Better Sex Buzz Team is limited to one per household.
3. Membership may be suspended if guidelines are repeatedly broken.
4. Members may not share Buzz Team discount codes in emails, on blogs, bulletin boards or other sites.
5. Buzz Team Members may not harass any of the Buzz Team Administration. Administrators respect all members’ time and opinions and expect the same courtesy. Any harassment will promptly revoke membership.
6. Requests for sample products will only be processed when reviews from the last sample (easily done by forwarding the review verification email) are received. It is the responsibility of the member to keep up with their reviews, not that of Better Sex. If a member continually requests sample products before they are eligible or sample products inconsistent with their Buzz Team status, that member may be subject to suspension from the Buzz Team or downgrade to applicant status.
7. It is the member’s responsibility to stay in touch with Buzz Team Administration regarding product review, product request, shipping issues, concerns and/or questions. Buzz Team Administration cannot be expected to know what is happening with every member without proper notification.
8. If a member has an issue that conflicts with their schedule such as vacation or sickness, please notify an administrator so your account may be maintained at inactive status until you are able to return. However, if 6 months pass by and we have not heard back, the member will be contacted and you will have 1 week to respond or your account will be deactivated and you must reapply and start at Level One Buzz Team membership.
9. Buzz Team Administration can schedule the processing of shipments up to a week out. Sample requests can only be made when the member returns a review. Holding or reserving samples for a member when that member has not submitted their last sample review is unfair to other Buzz Team Members and administration maintains a "no favorites" policy.
10. Buzz Team Administration institutes an annual audit to determine if Buzz Team members are fulfilling requirements and adhering to policies. Buzz Team is an exclusive team with a capped amount of participants. Annual audits ascertain that the best members stay on our team.
11. Buzz Team Membership is open to Canadian customers with slight limitations on sample shipment. Currently Buzz Team Membership is NOT open to International customers.

LEGALESE

1. Better Sex reserves the right to change the Buzz Team program, guidelines or structure at any time.
2. All reviews are the property of and fall under the © copyright of Better Sex.
3. Better Sex reserves the right to publish or not publish reviews based on our discretion.
4. Better Sex reserves the right to edit reviews where necessary without changing the overall substance of the review.
5. Buzz Team Membership may only be granted by Better Sex.
6. Members may not repost reviews on other sites OR use material from other sites to post on BetterSex.com. If a member is found doing such, it will determined as plagiarism and may be grounds for dismissal from Buzz Team.
7. Better Sex reserves the right to grant or deny membership at their discretion and based on the member’s (in)ability to adhere to all Buzz Team guidelines.
